I really like the game cos it scratches that casual space game itch I've had since playing Freelancer back in the day. I don't think it's close enough to a full release in its present state though. Apart from the bugs, balancing is very wonky (wasn't expecting to get 1-shot by level 30 pilots after checking out the hidden station I found during my Explorer's guild job interview) and there are missing features like surface scanning. Dev says that the current non-public version has a lot of these issues addressed and I'll take their word for it.

My biggest gripe however that I haven't really seen brought up before is with the English in the game. It is bad enough that it often breaks immersion (wonky dialogues, massive button under Operations saying "EXECUE" etc.) and occasionally it's even misleading. For instance, I thought the "Gathering" gun was supposed to be some kind of mining tool until I realised it was (probably) a misspelling of "Gatling" gun. This wouldn't take a lot of work to address (relatively speaking), and would add a lot to the game's value. Dev, in case you read this please hire someone to proofread the text before you release the game.

Same question, as why movies launch on thusday.

I'm trying to find out the exact percentages granted by different partner skill levels. I'm pretty sure that a lot of them have been nerfed or changed since launch, like I don't think Frostallion and Suzaku give 50-100% while mounted anymore (although if they do, that's what I need to find out especially)

I was hoping for an easy Insurance system pay to revive but idk.

Because it's wildly inconsistent. In the patch notes they talk about giving it more of an ebb and flow to "reduce ambushes" and "have break states" but those break states drag on super long and the "ambush" feel is way worse.

For Spawner, Me and many other negatives reviewer who dislike previous spawning, it just dont make ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense by dropping infected next to the player should be consider "difficulty tweak", it is awkward and broken.

Since infected take longer to reach the player, they did increased the speed but probably can still use some more infected on field.

ESL, my boy, that literally has nothing to do with the loadout crates and everything to do with just not needing supplies that you absolutely did the previous iteration. Check the other super popular Discussion post atm where everyone agrees it's a ghost town now. You can also grouse about zombies "spawning right next to the player" (they really didn't too badly since the Broadway update, though I guess it could still stand to be tweaked) but the solution isn't just to make them spawn almost nowhere because of "muh immersion" or whatever.

The game needs to be challenging and unless every map is 100% flawlessly designed for it to make sense that zombies are everywhere at all times, then there's gotta be at least SOME artificial tinkering to keep it hard.

More merch, more fomo! If your game didn't get enough money to support it, then, just perhaps, the game has some actual flaws. You know, the reason why it didn't get you enough money. Maybe having more bug fixes and tweaks while having less BUY PLUSHIE NOW would work out?
