Have you let it just... sit for awhile? Or does the game crash completely?
In task manager is it still working (IE CPU/RAM/DISK usage is changing and not frozen).

My rimworld takes ~45 minutes to load at the moment, and it getting 'stuck' during initialization is a normal thing.

That's what I thought too! I've given significant amounts of time (20+ minutes) because that happens with mine too, but this seems different that the usual "it looks like it's frozen until it's not" thing :/

I honestly can only play so much killer before I start nodding off. Other than games where the killer has a magic find me connection to what I am thinking I don't mind getting slaughtered in a match. It is exciting and there is something to loose. I can't stand killer enough to get better matches. It isn't the same for weekend warrior find your spot players anymore. I could sit in red with a minimal number of games and just have fun. Now rank 100% resets and I have to play a minimum number of matches to get back to the fun games. At least with Survivor you get Smurfers to bring a challenge to low rank. Killer .... it feels like kicking puppies to get through mid rank before anyone can tie their own shoes or color inside the lines.

All this said. Survivors are not going anywhere. Play harder enjoy and it will either make better opponents or the developers will kick your meta in the ding ding to re balance how they want it.

If your looking for realism in battlefield you're living in a fantasy land. That's not this game, never has been. As for jets having no place in battlefield purely due to bad company your equally delusional.

Unfortunately, you need to look past graphics and appearances and recognize that Battlefield is a sorta-sandboxy sorta-casual FPS. It is not a mil sim. Jets aren't the only thing wildly unrealistic. Of course, we all ask for balance, and a game as big as a mainline BF is hard to balance. The things we should most harshly criticize devs on are things like weapons that remove the "aiming" aspect in a first-person shooter, allowing the game to effectively play itself for you (mostly referring to missiles in past BFs that could turn sharper than a WACOM pen in OSU), or game mechanics in general that both reduce realism AND ruin balance.

When did I say Battlefield was a milsim? Quit strawmanning.

I mean, I'm not complaining, they're a great addition to the game and fit perfectly. And it doesn't seem like FromSoft cares either. It's just funny no one is talking about such blatant copy/pasting. I'm pretty sure it's the same sound effect, too. It's really strange, I never even see them mentioned in the "New Features" videos people have been making after the update.
