I dont think there's any point in speculating.

Whatever our feelings about the game might be, id is a pretty significant developer attached to some legendary IP. Everyone loses when a game underperforms for a game like Doom.

I hope TDA was a success.

Super nervous about this game, and i pre purchased it thinking it would be a good game, now im pretty sure i wont beable to play it so refund is going to be in order! That secure crap wow ea, thought you were better than that, boy was i wrong!

I'm sure this isn't a legitimate question, but it's actually quite simple.

Men and mer are of Nirn, which is in Mundus (you can kind of think of Mundus as the "mortal realm"). It was created by the Aedra, who exist in a realm called Aetherius. There are many planes of Aetherius, just like there are many planes of Oblivion (in which exist the Daedra). You mentioned Sovengarde. Putting it simply, Sovengarde is a plane of Aetherius, along with others like the Sands Behind the Stars and the Far Shores.

Both the Aedra and the Daedra, by the way, are essentially the same thing. In the Aldmeri language (the Aldmer are the ancestors to both men and mer), "Aedra" means "our ancestors" and "Daedra" means "not our ancestors". Both were created by the interaction of the two primal powers - Anu (constant and unchanging) and Padomay (chaos - represented by Sithis... yeah, the Dark Brotherhood Sithis). Their interactions created the et'ada, or "original spirits". One of these et'ada named Lorkhan tricked some of the other et'ada to create Mundus. He did this in an attempt to get those et'ada to give up some of their powers, but he ended up dying because of it. This is, by the way, why some of his body parts, including, famously, the Heart of Lorkhan, can be found in Mundus. And like I said, those et'ada who made Mundus are now the Aedra. The et'ada who didn't participate in the making of Mundus are the Daedra.

Agree that it definitely shouldn't repeat the mistakes of DOW3, but DOW2 was great and I will die on that hill.
