Looks fun, but can you let us prioritize what troops we bring in? When outnumbered it really sucks when it just brings in my melee troops, or increase battle size

Not really, just like Dante he had a trauma, and that led Vergil to do horrible things for power. Of course that doesn't justify all the crimes he did, but it wasn't for pure evil, even in DMC3 where Vergil was vulnerable and weak he decided to let Dante escape to the human world while he confronts Mundus, or the fact that he didn't fight Nero because he felt protected for the first time (Stated by V wich is his human side)

I have had Benzie mobs spawn next police check points and next to police cars... so if that was/is a thing... it's not working.

However, what i have noticed in the last 3 areas is the higher cartel influence the higher the mobs spawn and the higher chance of a attempted robbery on my dealers...

Glitch, intentional or extreme chance... but at max influence i will mobs spawning nearly every day. Once i am down to the 200-300's i have seen one. Under 200, yet to see any mobs.

I'm also sceptical of that discord info, since I played a 100% playthrough and only saw the ambushes twice. Hard to believe I didn't meet those conditions more often. It could be that the info is in the code, but something is not working as intended or some info is missing. I will try to mess around with it. I'll edit the save file to have 0 influence in half of the town and 9999 in other half. Maybe I'll get some results. Thanks for the reply! :)

Are you sure people are ALWAYS in the government database? I have 3 names so far that don't show up. Do people have aliases?
