Wait, is there a 2nd phase etc in current event? Are you kidding me? WTF, i can't even win 4th 1st chapter boss and can't win consistenly 3d one with 30% winrate. I'm 39 lvl and it's so fing hard for f2p player. And event time is very short like 14-15 days or smth...

Im f2p play too level 41 atm, im on 2nd phase, i coulda farmed 3k points @Shadowftl, but honestly i dont have a knowledge about a "fairy tale" card and if its worth for my deck, so ive just used my paerls for gold and a chance for uncommon cards(void, magic, wizard etc.) or for magic dusts aftrer a recycle.

@Shadowftl thanks for the guides bro, was helpful but it could also use improving, your decks are too aggressive for my playstyle, i shoulda listen to my gut and made a more balanced/controlled deck, in my opinion its not about finishing an opponent as fast as possible, its about being in control...Game could use improving, a tie is still a loss, dropping opponent hp below zero first while he still takes your hp below zero is also a loss...

So here are my tactics and deck building advices(bear in mind its an rng game, so altho we had same starting cards, it depends which cards we found later, try to make a playable deck with those cards that you already have, while having an idea for a future deck, so you dont waste much resources as i did lol), if you are playing as enchanter, you need to know your opponents too, you want to use first 5 combo cards as a defense, to build as much armor as possible, and then after you have pealed your oponnent, and build up an armor, you do counter attacks and burst to finish him off, keep in mind farming an opoenent while being at 30hp/not taking damage grants you achievements=gems in the long run.

Most of them sound too European, Mexican, Hawaiian or Russian. Only a few of them have actual american names I think.

A majority of the native american "named" ones are the ones you dont hear about alot is partly why.

We're currently working on adding more languages to the game. We're hoping with the recent changes we'll be able to get them in sooner rather than later.

I selected a custom character, but was softlocked at the opening cutscene.
it showed a grey knight hiding under a table, and then he never got back out.
I couldn't even pause and quit, I had to alt-tab.

Looks like it's a "no" for crossplay this year.

A great thing about this game is how well it is balanced for many different strategies. I've personally beaten the game using dozens of completely different joker combinations. Don't get discouraged and don't think there is just one way to beat the game :)

My quick input though is I view all the choices you make into 2 possibilities. Short term payoffs and long term payoffs. Short term payoffs are very important to get through the first few ante's, but if you don't have something that scales with you, you will get stuck at around level 5 like you're experiencing. Some examples of long term payoffs you might consider is altering your deck through tarot cards or just adding certain cards to make better hands easier to achieve, using planet cards to make easier hands such as single card more powerful (although you can't just rely on planet cards. They don't scale as fast as the points required), or jokers that power up as you play a certain way.
