i installed this demo a week or two ago to try it out. when i first launched it gave me several "difficulty" options and i got to try each once. the last time i played i left the game running, Since i havent been able to select difficulty as well as i am forced into the first mode without unlimited resources as well as the clue for scrolling in wont fade away blocking my vision of the left side of the screen. its for sure a fun demo but not sure why these issues came up. also pro tip single cell organisms are not doable in the demo

Yes, but not on 60 FPS without dips. You can squeeze out Medium with DLSS, 40-50 FPS. If you really want to be sure, just use FrameGen. Extra Input Latency, you need extra GPU headroom and the lower the FrameRate, the more artifacts and lag it will have. The baseline is 60 FPS for FrameGen, but the lowest you can go is 40 depending on the game.

Obviously speaking about Lossless Scaling. It all just depends on the game, how HUD elements behave and how much ghosting it produces. Overall Input Latency will be around the same as playing on a Console on a HDTV OLED.

So if you don't mind lower frames, lower graphical settings. Or you just want to lock it to 30 FPS, then go ahead. Day 1 patch is incoming, it won't solve all issues, but it will solve some. They already stated that prior to launch.

Seeing how we can do the Ark version before Aqua: Going into setting and do the patch before Ark. I would think the mods would still work, but I don't know. I just heard about the loading the patch before Ark by settings. I did not see that last time they updated Ark with Aqua.

Only way you can 100% guarantee not to get a mirror match is to join a lobby or create a lobby and set it to NO mirror and IT HAS TO BE A Full 5 stack then hit search. This takes longer than qp, but usually when i make a lobby it is full within 5-10 mins.

The funny thing about it is that even this setting is not 'respected' by the game, togging it off just decreases your chance of getting a mirror.

I believe, though I could be wrong, that the left is the type of DAMAGE they deal (Melee / Ranged / Magic) and that the right hand side is the UNIT type (Beast / Infantry / Cavalry / Structure).

Didn't realize the enhanced one was like that, I never took it as the basic version seemed way too much set up for way too little reward. Might toss ghosts or something on there, the basic ones and archers are both infantry at least.

thanks :) did some testing with it too... and yes if you enhance it and only spam either melee or ranged it adds +1/+1 each time you spawn the same type of unit on it.
at 1 point i had the enhance goblins ( 16 goblin spawns ) on it and they ended up at +14 / + 14 or something haha.. but you can totally do goblin 1 turn then miners 2nd turn and then goblins turn 3. it adds them all up since they are all melee :)

I did some testing and got ghosts up to +106 / +106.
Gotta say, one of the easiest runs I've ever done despite it being Stage 17 of 20.

Yea, still playing, though I didn't get it at launch, I needed new m.2 SSD's, so I started last December. Its my favorite game, so I do love it obviously, including the DLC, and I have appreciated all the updates too, they're steadily improving and adding, which is great.

After a few hundred hours enjoying vanilla, I started to mod, because i love modding, and wow the modding scene is wild and overflowing with options, 11,000 mods on Nexus, and 4,000 mods on Creations, and more elsewhere too, im also making my own mods as I tend to do, the engine has never handled modding so well as it does now, superb, with a huge community.

If you like Bethesda style games, this is quintessentially their handiwork, and their biggest most advanced ever, though Starfield is quite different than the other games, thats a good thing IMO, to be its own unique IP, regardless, you can still feel that DNA in there that scratches the itch for so many millions of fans.
