I have no issue upgrading my system when it stops fulfilling its basic purpose — and trust me, I’ve done so many times before. But in this case, yes, I do find it frustrating to have to replace perfectly functioning hardware just because of one missing component which represents not even 1% of the system, cost-wise or functionally. And what’s worse, we all know that even with TPM 2.0 enabled, cheaters and hackers aren’t going anywhere. So this “requirement” feels more performative than effective.

Also, no — I’m not going to rebuild my entire PC just for one game. I’ll wait until the day comes when most games require TPM 2.0, and then I’ll consider a proper, justified upgrade. But spending more money to access a game I already paid for, that should logically still work, just feels wrong. It’s not just about the tech — it’s about principle.

Finally, I have to say I’m mildly amused by the way you’re categorizing people into little user groups like a fantasy alignment chart. I guess we’re all just characters in your tech taxonomy. I'm happy if that helps you make sense of the situation. Just don’t forget that behind your neat labels are real people dealing with real justified constraints.

I've been playing a Lich Executioner follower of Horome and I'm growing concerned about how overpowered this is and trying to decide if I should just start a new run as I've come to realize how important Charisma is and I'm tempted to switch to a class that builds that easier but if the power level for executioner becomes more reasonable once I hit end game I might just stick with that.

The game is opening in 1920x1080 fullscreen and cutting off the top and bottom of the screen since my monitor is 3840x1080.
I can't confirm settings changes to switch to windowed or change the resolution since the confirmation button is outside of the display and doesn't respond to the keyboard.

Why arent anyone happy , they fixed one problem , on to the next one . They deserved a proper praise !!!

Yes it was. This game came out in 2021 when text to image models were mostly producing incomprehensible weird stuff and artists (such as myself) were much less critical of the technology. At the time I figured it would be an interesting way to represent some inhuman alien imagery that contrasts the rest of the game, but it definitely grew into my biggest regret with the game over time. It's the only time I've ever used it in an art project, and it's something I'll never use again. It's a technology that immediately became lame, exhausting, and artistically stifling to me.

To clarify, everything besides that one screen was made by either myself or another artist, and it's still a game I am largely proud of, warts and all.
