Maybe what this proves is that Veilguard was a flawed game while KCD II was a better game.

KCD II has its own problems, no doubt. But that is the think -> it is a good game first. The lecturing and retcon is (still) on a minor scale. KCD II is 85% true to KCD.

The artificial influence from outside consultants (that are not gamers) is noticeable and breaking the otherwise very deep immersion and believable world in KCD II. Still the rest of the game is so strong enough that it is still a good game, no matter the sabotage from the outside activists that try to force their view on everybody. That is the difference between KCD II woke and Failguard wokeness level. This is possible the hardest part of reality for activists that there limits to what level you can force your views. This is the hard no of reality that you never heard in your childhood, that would ground you in the first place.

The main protagonist looks pretty bad too. I dig the low-poly look but her face (at least in the trailer) looks like it was drawn by a toddler. Any chance this could get reworked to give her a bit more personality with facial expressions and an overall more feminine touch?

Lastly, if anyone played it on the Deck, how does it run in terms of framerate?

May be interested in the game as I like the overall visual style and i'm a fan of action adventures, just depends on a few of those things mentioned above.

I read the official message on the launch window that says the server are up. It's not the customer's fault if Frontier can't get their basic comms right and give conflicting information. We shouldn't have to go looking in forums for information that should be accurate on the launcher.
