With those game mechanics it might be hard to detect on that level. I bought the game a while back, haven't played much back then. Then I started playing recently and ofc started from the lower MMR's and the higher I go the less cheaters I see (I think I got up to 5 before I deleted the game), you can have me agreed on that but that doesn't mean there are no cheaters or that are so few cheaters as they present to be in my opinion. Maybe you are getting killed or even killing people in the game who ARE infact cheating. I suspect I have blown off a few with a shotgun. Its not normal to pick up the phone irl while playing a quick match , crouch in a hidden spot and stay there for minutes while talking and the all of a sudden a guy popps out preaimed at me knowing exactly where I am in the shadiest of spots with 0 points of intereset besides me. Some people are so bad, that are actually bad at cheating two. Even if that is true and there are less cheaters in the higher ranks which I honsetly doubt at this point, what is left for the people who bought the game recently. Can't they enjoy good anticheat and actually playing a playable game without cheaters ? I spectated people who headshot other people from 200 meters aiming a tree then a bush behind the tree where the player was hiding. "There are no cheaters" is a bunch of baloney.

Bought the game a while ago but thought you know what I'm gonna get on the Steam forums for the first time ever and personally attack this Ray Von guy in my first ever post.

Then I'll post a video of cheating that everyone will agree with is cheating. I'll make sure to use Steam Recording at 60FPS because my PC isn't good enough to run Nvidia Highlights. I'll make sure to record after I'm Brown Bread so nobody can see my skill issue or that my trigger wasn't good enough to complete even with a lvl 38 Player.

I measured the player count manually on August 16 at 18:32 UTC. The result was 995 players. I don't think that the KF 3 player count is fake, so it would be correct to say that KF 2 has fewer players than KF 3 these days. However, the situation can change in the future.

It's quite sad to see how bad updates have driven so many players away. It shouldn't have been like that. KF 2 could have had at least over 2,000 concurrent players otherwise.

It is also correct to say that the KF 2 player count is botted, and, as I pointed out earlier, it is quite likely that the KF 2 bot farms originate from the same place as the PD2 bot farms.
