Both of you have seen me criticize this game's sound design, teaming mechanics, possible pricing, housing, and so on.

The reason you're confused is because I want my criticisms to be productive and I want the game to be fun, and you're living on a whole different planet. You guys have kind of an edgy Karen comradery going on which is why you see every conversation through a lens of signaling, but I guarantee you there are design leads out there who don't like me as much as you seem to think they would.

If you had to be realistic for a minute, you could probably admit there's no use bugging a small team about stuff they've made clear is outside their reach to change. That is what makes most of the "criticism" in this thread suboptimal and not valuable to me. If that wasn't the case, I'd say so, regardless of its convenience to anyone.

The OP's five, short, very clear sentences aren't offensive. And I think there's a high likelihood that the kind of person who would take offense probably looks for offense and takes offense to perceived slights all the time in mundane interactions.

(Edit: And I hope both of you have the skin to consider that fair game, since you seem to be alright with making assumptions about the character and motivations of complete strangers.)

It's an entitlement epidemic. If someone feels slighted by something they will spend an inordinate amount of time disparaging that thing.

In this instance they feel slighted that a company would dare charge a box price, and a subscription for this game, so they feel slighted by the developers, and thusly will waste their time doom posting instead of playing the thousands of other games available.

It's too bad Steam encourages this kind of negative behavior with their award system.

You're probably right, but hanging out in a forum of a game I think is bad sounds so fundamentally weird and masochistic that I have a hard time wrapping my head around it. I'll stop there because that's probably about the politest thing I can say about it.

im no plane expert but how do you extinguish an internal fuel tank fire? it probably will keep on burning until the fuel runs out or until you cut the flow, i doubt any people would try to do that, if its already a wreck its easier to handle no?
