Come on Neo - there's nothing 'hivemind' about checking a product's reviews and using them to base a decision to purchase or not on.

Sure, use the reviews to aid your decision, but the way you worded your question implies you think there is no decision to be had, it's a hard no. But that's not how it works, I saw the small majority of positive reviews and still made the decision to buy it.

And I'm very happy I did because it's a great game.

okay so i can google to see streamers paid for to endorse this game but i wana hear from the actual communuty...this game broken beyond repair now or nah? i stopped playing after first 3 months and want an actual answer if i should re dl and play again as a normal non streamer player

It is if you are trying to play the game before they finish compiling. If they did finish and the game is still not performing well. Than update driver/s, do a clean boot, adjust system settings. Plenty of things that it could be but its def not the game.

I just built a PC for my friend. 9800X3D, PNY RTX 5080, 64GB DDR5 6400MT/s. 2TB NVME. They played this game over 14 hours since last patch with zero issues.

So either do some troubleshooting or open a ticket with ND.

Yes it is the game. Don't dismiss everyone else just because your friend got lucky. The rest of us who used to be able to play the game, suddenly can't play it for long without a crash, since the last patch. It isn't our PC, our drivers or our star sign, it's the game.

So you mean my friends PC, and my other PC magically play this game no problem with no crashing?

Or how about the other 94% of positive reviews since the last patch? Are they all being dismissive too?

It seems no legit troubleshooting is being done, no posting of crash logs, no submitting of specifications, or even attempting to do anything to try and resolve their issues. Just pointing fingers. Of course game is not going to work when people cant be bothered or just arent knowledgeable enough to fix the issue.
