Maybe they will add that achievement, I bet they figured nobody could do it lol, that or thought some people would be mad about a near impossible achievement.

It's not impossible, but definitely difficult. And you need to have the right role play mindset going in. Like I said before, I was doing a strictly explorer play through that mostly focused on the main quest. So I really leaned into it pretending I was "boldly going where on one has gone before" head space. So that made it fun. And there are a lot of beautiful and interesting planets out there. And I took hundreds of pictures along the way. AND, I saw several solar eclipses. However, none planet side, just from space.

After doing this though, I realized that there is a feature that is really missing from the game. Some kind of compiled chart or book that would have detailed info about all the systems, planets, flora and fauna I visited. That would make outpost building much easier and more strategic and it would make it easier to find planets I wanted to revisit.

That would be a GREAT idea for a mod....... If I could script in papyrus..... I'd give it a shot. :D

They did make an event mode for it, it was unpopular. They aren't doing it again.

It was unpopular when the game came out 13 years ago so the "it was unpopular" reason isn't valid. It would be popular in 2025.

D4 has a really good cosmetics system even without spending extra money in the cash shop.

From Australia to the western United States and the EU, there is only 140 ping, which is not considered high ping.
Asia is closer to both regions than Australia.
The lowest possible ping from Asia to the western United States is around 90 ping, making it one of the only servers that is normally open to Asia under non VPN conditions, the other being Russia, but with a higher ping than the western United States.

140 is high ping for sure. I can play in EU servers from California which is 9,000 km away with around 150 ping.

The definition of COD for high PING is 180PING.
