I'm having the same problem with de map. I just bought it and started a new world and many blue squares appeared on the map and they have this glitch animation. Anyone knows how to fix it?

no i was actually asking im confused why they need us to change our start up in our bios. if there anti cheat is kernel lvl cant they just keep our info if banned in there server without secure boot

Then I misunderstood your message. You dont change your startup, you just enable Secureboot.

Imagine your PC as a house.

Your house = your computer
Front door lock = the process that starts your computer.
Secure Boot = a guard at the door who only lets in people on the “trusted guest list.”

What happens without Secureboot?

If there’s no guard, anyone could walk in — including burglars (malicious programs) that sneak in before Windows even starts.
These “burglars” are called bootkits or rootkits — nasty programs that hide so deep in the system you might never see them.

What happens with Secureboot:

When you press the power button, the guard (Secure Boot) checks the list of trusted “signatures” — like IDs for software.

If the software trying to start isn’t on the trusted list, the guard says “Nope” and stops it from loading.

That means your PC only starts using genuine, untampered boot software — protecting you before Windows even wakes up.

And why is it important?

It stops hackers from taking control before your antivirus (hope you dont use any) can even start.

Thats it. Nothing more, noting less.

I'm mostly so annoyed with the microbes, personally, because they interact with all of the copy powers like copier and camp (I think?) and if you forget to clear it before it gets copied then your board is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I was just doing a super fun run with earth + meteor shower + copier + lots of appear effects and it got obliterated by the microbe destroying everything including THE EARTH! (That's a yikes from me, bro!)

I dunno, a back button might be fun, yes lol. If only because sometimes the interactions are too many to keep track of and a screw-up is easy to make.

Reusing assets has been a part of games since the beginning. It's a way to save time and money.

So it really is a case of "if you don't want to pay then don't pay". In the day and age of constantly updating games the devs need a way to make money in order to continue updating the game. Skins is a way to do that.

It has nothing to do with integrity or lack there of.

Reusing assets is fine — every game does it — but there’s a big difference between smart asset reuse and selling the same thing twice with a barely noticeable change at a premium price. One saves time and resources while still delivering something fresh, the other is just low-effort monetization.

Yes, devs need to make money to keep games alive. I don’t think anyone here is against that. But pretending that integrity has nothing to do with how you treat your paying player base is missing the point. If updates are funded by skins, then those skins should be worth the price tag — not just recycled content with minimal effort. It’s not “anti-monetization” to want quality in what’s being sold.
