Exactly, you nailed it. These people aren’t defending the game because it’s good, they’re defending their emotional investment like scared children. Their replies yell "NOOO STOP NOTICING" Any critical opinion is instantly branded “toxic” or “whining,” no matter how solid the argument. Honest feedback? Forget about it. It’s crushed under their censorship, and that’s killing the game’s chance to success.

The devs get fed lies about what players want, the core audience gets shoved aside, and the game heads straight into the pit. Meanwhile, these self appointed defenders cheer like they won some prize.
Feels like a dystopian disaster engineered by blind ideologues.

So what do collabs have anything to do with the game standing on it's own?

Obviously its an attempt to draw in people that enjoy those series/franchises. But I feel its cheap since it kind of undermines the own unique identity of the game that they kind of ruined since the launch of ow2.

Constant traversal stutter and huge fps drops in every bigger fights. (ED 209, UED robots area, fight with cryo cannon etc etc) In both games, with or without Framegen.
