They broke crossbows because they removed reload.
Basically, crossbows proficenty is much more common among all classes (I think only monk and druid cant use it), but normally you cant do multiply attack during one turn.
In this game there is no difference. So yeah, just choose by damage and bonuses weapon gives.

Other weapons have difference.
1) finesable - so you can use DEX for hit and damage bonuse instead of CHA
2) damage type - bulgeon is best, overall, because resistance to piercing and slashing more common
3) weapon reach - not that huge but may be useful too.
4) 1\2 handed - its mostly about meelee - for some feats and usage of offhand

It gates people out of most of the Hagga Basin pve, and out of rpg style pve progression (that of growing their character to some ideal the player set for themselves).

Unless you just expect people to use only the lowest skills while trying to face the later areas in Hagga Basin.

Phase Covenant
Amon gains Forgeskill, depending on his equipped Action Skill. Forgeskills can be Activated by pressing and holding an Action Skill.

Molten Slam (Onslaughter Action Skill equipped): Press and hold Action Skill to Slam a Molten Forgehammer into the ground, dealing Incendiary Melee Damage to enemies in a large area.

Firewall (Scourge Action Skill equipped): Press and hold Action Skill to deploy a Firewall that absorbs enemy Projectiles, and grants Friendly Projectiles that pass through it increased Damage and Projectile Speed. Absorbed Damage is converted into Vengeance if Scourge is active. Enemies near Firewall take Incendiary Status Effect Damage over time.

Double-Edge (Crucible Action Skill equipped): Press and hold Action Skill to throw a twinned Forgeaxe, dealing Cryo Melee Damage to enemies it passes through and returning to Amon, dealing Incendiary Melee Damage on the way back.

Crucible: Wield the elemental might of fire and ice with Amon's twin Forgeaxes, which deal Incendiary or Cryo damage by default, have multiple charges, and can be picked up to reduce their cooldown. The Forgeaxes make any damaged target Primed, causing them to explode in a damaging, bloody mess when killed.

Scourge: Charge headlong into the fray as Amon summons his Forgeshield, which will soak up incoming damage and fill up a Vengeance Meter. Once you've absorbed the brunt of the incoming hurt, you can return the favor by firing back a Forgewave that consumes Vengeance to deal freezing Cryo damage.

Onslaughter: Wallop your foes in the face with Amon's Forgefist, which dashes to your target to unleash an explosive Rocket Punch. The force of this Incendiary Melee Damage impact will Stagger most enemies, leaving them dazed so you can finish them off with a flurry of bullets.

allow for quick changing of favorite settings
open your escape menu and setting that you favorited are there off to the side without the need to enter the sub-settings

it would also be nice to get the option to turn off the collection of grubs and seeds from collecting when harvesting specific foragables

My absolute favourite is Rainbow 6 3: Raven Shield, it's mods and expansions.

I would love a remaster/remake that stays true but, not by Ubisoft lol.

Raven Shield is still the GOAT as far as I'm concerned. I'd kill for a modern update. What happened to the R6 franchise is an absolute travesty.

Not crediting someone while using even a few bricks from their creation is a pretty big mistake. No one here cares about your law stuff, Brick Rigs workshop has rules that you have to freaking follow, and if you can’t understand that, then stop using it.
