I just tried that and there is no pop up asking that. I have tried uninstalling the game and verifying files. But it still doesn't show this option.

I have a feeling that you cannot skip it the first time you play on version 1.0+, my guess is that once you complete the prologue section any new games you start after that will allow you to skip it.

Brother, if 400k people play and 300k accounts were already blocked for cheating AND the cheats are out there with proof. You can draw a healthy conclusion.

Once you own a carrier S fighters start to truly shine. As the carrier is able to repair them (and does so super efficiently when using position defense) S fighters can lock down gates with ease - obliterating both capital ships and all smaller ships.

At the beginning of the game I skip S and most M ships (with the exception of Katana or both Boron M attack vessels) and go straight for any L ship. S ships on their own are too squishy and I need at least one turret to really have fun.

RE that pilot level - I really never do care. Especially on S ships, they aren't protected enough so all the time invested in them can be gone in the blink of an eye. Only L ships and upwards get trained pilots / captains. Everything else either survives long enough to get high levels or not. It doesn't matter. I also would never put precious high level pilots in M ships. They die even faster than S ship if the get unlucky.
