I've been to every place possible with the default character, the only one I've got right now. It seems I'm supposed to be at the waterfall and it seems I need the archer to help me but if that's what I do next, how do I unlock it? If it's in the cave in the village, I'm short a crystal (got 6). I've gotten all that I can reach. I got the snorkel too.

I've been to the ends of ever allowable spot for this character and there's nothing left I can see to do nor any more NPC's to talk to. I've had to stop playing because revisiting all the same locations and talking to the same NPC's for a few hours has gotten old. Have I hit a glitch in the game and should have the archer???

if you dont have gems you can instead replace them for another card from any other game, and if you do this, unlike gems, there is no need to add multiple. (example 5:5+25gems vs 5:5+1extra random card)

i also give 50 gems for cards, regardless of game, so send me the ones you dont collect. i dont always have spare gems so i may add you as a friend to trade later.

I have a character that wields two swords in one weapon set and a bow + quiver in the second.

If I enter combat with the swords and keep using them, everything is as intended. They fight with the swords, never change to the bow.

But if I begin combat with the bow (which very often makes sense, since I can get 2-3 shots in before the enemy can close distance), and then switch to the swords, my character will sometimes not react at all to the switch command, and other times automatically switch back to the bow. This is absolutely infuriating because it usually means I take a couple of hits while I try to fix my equipment, which often means I die or take way more damage than I should.

Outside of combat, switching always works as intended.

I suspected I might be clicking the switch button multiple times (especially those cases where it does not seem register at first) and what I was seeing was essentially buffered input, but I started paying attention that I'm not panic-clicking, and I'm pretty confident I've seen this happen when I only made a single click.

Next, I wondered if there is some AI setting that I am missing, but in the tactics panel I have nothing set that seems like it should cause this (in fact, I have no custom tactics set at all, just default cautious/passive behaviors).

Any ideas? I want to love this game, but stuff like this is quite frustrating.

I’ve noticed in this one if you eat a bug roast you don’t seem to get the well fed drink perk anymore like in grounded 1, but if you sleep in the bed you get it, so my advice is make the bed not the lean to, sleep at night and also put your molars into lowering the thirst hungry drain and like others have said maybe carry 2 canteens instead of 1 and have multiple dew collectors at your main base and take the ingredients to make more dew collectors at points of interest so you remember where you put them all on the map
