EA all reeady lost a lot on IP like as Madden , PGA , EA FC , Dragon Age , Mass effect ..
even BF was not their major ip ( in term of growth revenue ) , it be part of their catalog to appeal player/consummers .

so yes they may earn some $$ at launch , but on long terms it may be a total disaster .
