I would make Dune: Awakening free to play, I would use THAT CARD while it is yet effective. Turn the purchase into credits and add a Cosmetic/Convenience Shop. Make another marketing push with streamers. Add some new content, vehicles spawners and AI enemies on Deep Desert patrolling roaming there in convoys, I would MAD MAX the thing, convoys of AI with Vehicles with mounted weapons going to Points of Interest doing their thing and nerf the Ornithopters abuse/frequency/commonality. Allow character transfers to new servers, increase size, unify and gather people.
Make the rock islands somewhat closer, but not too closer and hope the Sandworms spice the adrenaline up for FUN trademark. Also some character progression 2.0 with some itemization 2.0.

The guys who made Forever Winter have 300 players only and each month the developers push new amazing content and improvements, steady, each month and its still Early Access. It can be done. Beliiiiiiiiiieve in yourself. Some people dont throw the towel even though the situation is dire and some people throw the towel way too early.

Man, I was expecting that kind of game since DungeonBorne! I was unaware... And in your methaphor DungeonBorne died, as it will happens to Dune the awakening. That it could be...

I don't think anything in the game has changed in that regard but..
I don't always read the patchnotes.

2) Both of those items are worth 20 times what you're offering

TerminatorBase NPCs seem to freeze or outright crash the game when having equipped certain CS weapons, such as the AK47 or P90. I think it's all automatic weapons, as weapons like pistols do not trigger this issue, but I haven't tested it with much else so far.

If I undo while one of these NPCs has any CS weapon equipped, I get this error:

I don't believe I've had anything similar happen with other weaponbases.

There is a daily co-op mission. Also some events will have co-op as well, there is an event right now on the JP server that is co-op and it's quite fun.
