Does anyone have a rip of the character sprites? I really love the pixel art this game has and would love to study it closer to learn from it, but none of the usual places I go to for sprite rips have any from Chained Echoes. Thanks in advance!

The game isn't designed for drones to be a useful behavior.

Otherwise, everything works fine.

Except for fleets, which you can't even use as roles because they constantly stick to you and only warp away when they take damage. But I want to be able to send them away at any time without constantly having to bring them to stations, so they don't constantly stick to me and get in the way while I explore.

Especially now that there are so many large asteroids, where fleet ships have a harder time following a player, since a player doesn't fly as far away from everything as NPCs do.

That's why I don't use a fleet, it's no fun when they're constantly sticking to you and you constantly have to take them to stations if you want to do things, and a Fleet get in the way.

And above all you can't use them as roles because they get in the way of each other and the player.

Freighters that fight badly because there's not enough space for weapons and equipment.

Missiles are a waste because there's supposedly a bug that forces them into close combat when their ammo drops below 100, and waste Ammo on all Ships the not Fighting and flee for Player.

Miners that either do super mining but only when they have mining beams and nothing else, or they stand so far away from asteroids that only weapons hit and no mining beams are used, or because of drones they become useless in what they're actually supposed to do as miners.

In the end only combat ships work as combat ships and because of the inconvenience they just stand around at stations, and every attempt at playing with fleet ends in boredom because of the inconvenience of getting to ever Fleet to stations, the Player wanna to go to unknown sectors.

Two things:
1. I don't think it was necessary to make Full Throttle charge 50% slower than Shadow Stab.
2. I don't like that both of said charged attacks replace the heavy attack you perform when holding right mouse while not sprinting AND while not performing a combo.
I would enjoy if they replaced Front Kick (Chainsword) and Right Skull Crusher (Combat Knife) instead, allowing you to perform them immediately following a sprinting attack, which, unless you're fighting an enraged enemy, always staggers, thus giving you some time to charge to at least the first of the two 4x multipliers, which is still 6x damage.
