The gambling mechanic is literally RNG dependent though: I gave myself millions of murk and roughly 99% of all the relics I got (a couple of thousand) were either completely useless (2 or 3 mutually exclusive effects) or partially useless (1 good effect + 1 or 2 rubbish ones). Not to mention the hell that is relic inventory management, especially before the recent update that added more filter options.

Like I hinted at before, FromSlop is punishing people, in part because people sought ways around FromSlops own mistakes in the games design (which they have admitted to be mistakes by trying to fix them).

Yeah those ones are pretty good, although they tend to be slightly less optimal than a modified relic that gets the most out of a certain playstyle.

That doesnt make sense. If my modified relics let me play as the equivalent of someone who wasted a bunch of their limited life on gambling for those relics, then I'm not adding anything unnatural to the gameplay of other people. You cant tell the difference. And especially since it's a PvE game, where any advantage you have is indirectly an advantage to your teammates, rather than a PvP game where your advantages are disadvantages to other players, it shouldnt be an issue. People modifying relics to have impossible effects are an issue.
