Same here. Windows 11, I7 14700k, rtx 3060ti, 32 gb ram. Should run the game easily. Yea, just red, some DLC causes the chrashes. Reinstall game? System is absolutly new and clear. Driver up to date. Love the game but its unplayable at this time.

after getting a more optimized save file, the floors are 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13

ship scanner finds trade outposts and trade events in local systems, scan deflector is used for if you are carrying illegal goods in standard systems though most of the time you are travelling in jump drive planet to planet and so fast the police scanner can't track you. But the scanner itself is used for tracking a few things most notably trade outposts where you 'might' find a rare rank S (depending on system wealth) or if you need to sell goods at a higher price.

I am honestly not that concerned about having autosort - what I am concerned about is the ability to organise chests ourselves as players - that we can organise our items in a way that works for us.

With the new 1.2 system there is no organisation method in the chests - if the sort was alphabetical I could understand it, but it is not (for the English language version) and whatever the sort is in 1.2 is too random for me - eg tree seeds are not stored together , wood types are not together etc etc.

So our options are: waste a large amount of time trying to find things because they are not autosorted alphabetically or logically, or literally have a chest for each resource type/ altar/quest - so half the farm is covered in chests and finding the right place to store things becomes distinctly unfun.

All we are asking for is the return of the facility to organise storage manually - according to our own preferences. Autosort is fine for those that want it, but MANUAL/ PLAYER CONTROLLED organisation is what we are asking for the return of.

Literally this. I couldn't care about autosort chests, as I just throw stuff in and let it sort itself out. But when I'm spending 30 in game minutes trying to figure out where something is in one of my chests and organize the items in the chests the way I want - it's frustrating. I'm hoping the devs roll this back soon.

Yep, I just reinstalled to check after the hotfix and still no chest fix. They took out auto sort but didn't give you the ability to place the item wherever throughout the chests like previously. Nice job dev's! Uninstalled again!
