Bricking Your PC So EA Can Pretend to Fix Cheating....

When someone gets off on writing asinine comments like this but only reads just enough to miss the part where boot loops, drive encryption failures, recovery partition issues, and OS corruption are mentioned, it's really telling of who they are as an individual on even the functional levels.

If you can't figure out Secure Boot in order to avoid those potential boot loops, then that really is telling of who they[sic] are as an individual as well. It also pretty much states you shouldn't be using a PC if you can't seem to figure out how to convert a drive to GPT. It's not rocket science. Even when you install Windows 11 you need to convert your drive to GPT, which can be done right on the install screen. The only time there would be boot loops or OS corruption is when you actually have something on your PC that interferes with the boot process. Such as viruses, malware, keygens and cracks for Windows, etc. I think this is what it mostly stems down to why people don't want to enable it. Because their cracked Windows won't boot up. I had Secure Boot enabled since my initial install of Windows 11 and I never had an issue.

There are plenty of resources out there to figure out how to convert your drive without losing data. Also, why is anyone still on Windows 10? If they can upgrade. The only time I'd see it, is if their hardware was incapable due to outdated hardware, and if that's the case. You should be upgrading. If you're going to be using PC's then you should really be upgrading every 5-7 years. If you're an enthusiast then it's every 2-3 years. This is purely fear mongering and mostly down to user being uneducated in the area of literally flipping on one switch.

Now you're doubling down on writing a comment as offensive as suggesting they only care about Secure Boot because they want to pirate and cheat competitively, tacking on an insult to intelligence and then shifting it to "if they can't figure out how to convert a drive to GPT and upgrade to Windows 11 they need to get off of computers" before bringing up any semblance of a valuable talking point.

Naval invasion help required
Molybdane
In my first game since ages with the USA, i'm doing very well. Germany is done for and I have Japan on the ropes. I've managed that over several successful (and one unsuccessful) invasions in South-East Asia.

The problem is my next naval invasion. I'm trying to invade Korea from Formosa. I've taken care of all the usual conditions but you've guessed it; the invasion won't launch (or depart). I've been banging my wall at this problem for at least an hour now. This is what I've checked for:

I have naval supremacy in all sea zones involved, as such:

Yellow Sea: 19525 supremacy - 100% and 100% intel

E China Sea: 24192 supremacy countered by about 8000 - 74,70 % and 61,3% intel

S China Sea: 20787 supremacy countered by about 2350 - 89,50 % and 61,3% intel

I've confirmed that I am still (more about that later) at war with Japan.

I have sufficient convoys

I have no other invasion orders and my invasion order is no more than 10 divisions

There are no straights involved, not at the destination either.

I haven't changed the division type; I've used these divisions before on invasions.

I've tried a similar invasion from Okinawa as well.

There's only one weird thing that may cause a problem. I've actually successfully launched an invasion into South Korea before, with divisions already moving to the designated sea tiles, but the units moved away at the last second after Japan and China made peace. In fact, probably a day later, the communists began their war against the nationalists and joined the Allied faction, putting me at war with nationalist China. My invading force, still bound for South Korea. changed course and headed for Dailan instead (occupied by the Greeks, where my divisions almost got killed. I got them out later.

But could this forced re-steering of my (successfully launched) invasion imprinted on the game somehow?
