how well known a company is is irrelevant. and a big part of why grounded 2 was released into EA is because like the first game alot of the development is going to end up based on player feedback, and the only way to actually get player feedback is to..y'know have players

stop using insignia as the last reward. give players 100 premium currency so they can eventually save up and buy something. no one uses the damn insignias
