Congratulations, you've just discovered the importance of music in media and its role in setting the tone and atmosphere to convey certain depths to the narrative in order to enhance the audience's emotional impact (or in other words shapes our emotional response), including shaping our experiences and our interpretation of the story. Basically, it's meant to keep you invested in the story and even persuade you to overlook aspects you dislike.

And the second discovery that music can help with marketing (particularly advertisement) and branding the product for target audience. Not to mention music can make a product more memorable and hype.

So it's not that you're weak willed against music you consider good, it's basic psychology, turned into a somewhat weaponized marketing tool.

I’m not hating on Starfield itself. I actually love a lot about the game.

I just find it super weird that Bethesda nailed 32:9 support for gameplay but didn’t even occur to them to carry that over to Photo Mode, which is literally designed for curating breathtaking screenshots.

It’s such a strange oversight…especially since Photo Mode is a major feature for showing off the game’s pretty incredible visuals.

I got that you didn't hate the game itself, I just am not surprised that they forgot things with this as well when I feel like they half baked a lot of systems in this game unfortunately.

Far easier solution would be to forbid the use of base extension so people would be limited to just one block instead of maximun of 8.
Problem solved.

The transport problem it's a separate issue.
I want to spend as much as possible time on the ground, farming or doing dungeons. I don't want to spend half of my time flying around, counting sheeps while looking at the view.
If I wanted flight simulator, that's already a far better product on the market.

Inventory space and management is part of the game. If you trivialize that then hoarding just starts. Oh I can loot the entire Sheol zone in one trip? Cool no one else can loot it now for a timed duration. The game is built that way so a few people cannot loot an entire zone.

No, that's a notoriously piss poor indicator. Remember the whole Hate Train phenomenon? It's rampant and that's before accounting for one's specific tastes.

Pathfinder 1e is my favourite mechanics wise. I found out with bg3 that I really didn't care much for 5e dnd at all.

Yeah, I was excited for BG3, because my only experience with D&D is video games, and none had been using 5th edition rules yet.

Now that I've tried it, I realize that 5th edition is pretty crap.

That being said, I LOVE all the new playable options that Paizo has been churning out left and right since 2nd edition.

Playing as a Lich or a Vampire has been something I've wanted to do in D&D for decades. And with Pathfinder's Book of the Dead, not only can I finally do so, but I can also be a Skeleton, Zombie, Ghoul, Mummy, or Ghost!

You could do that in DnD 3.0...
