So cry me a river, we're lucky to get a remake of such a great game AT ALL! Have you seen the garbage SE's been pumping out lately? ff16 might have been a "commercial success" but everyone and their sister has mentioned how it doesn't feel like final fantasy anymore.

You can bet your dollar SOMEONE in SE has caught on to the fact that the company has lost its way and is spearheading these remake projects knowing this is what people want and not action RPG garbage that feels more like devil may cry than final fantasy.

And this team sure as hell ain't getting the funding the major releases are.
Your argument is flawed. You're essentially saying that I should be happy if the big heads walk into the factory and announce a 25% cut in our wages, simply because we have great factory jobs from a big-name company.

Or that I should be happy when the price of gas for filling my car increases from $30 to $60, because I use it every day. Hell, maybe I'll start tipping the gas station an additional $20 just because I appreciate being able to get to my job every day!

Only gamers are this type of consumer, where we are okay paying more money for less product. We should be extremely happy many dev teams who remaster a game DO NOT take the SE approach of just doing the base game for full price... THEN MAYBE the first DLC remastered for $20... THEN MAYBE the second DLC remastered for $20.

SE is excluding money/sales because of their decisions. They have the resources to create great games, but for whatever reason, they're choosing not to. I could feel "average" everywhere when I played the FF7 Remake, because it felt like they intentionally left out more than they needed to, perhaps because it's a trilogy. I will not forgive them for that.

You say SE has lost their way, and thus the reason why they might be remaking these games--because they're what gamers want. I can just as easily flip that argument. For Ivalice Chronicles, we have SE essentially saying, "We could do better. We could give you more, but we're not going to. Not sorry."

There's no reason why we can't have the playable content from WotL. There are plenty of other FFT-like games out there to try for the $50 asking price of this.

Dude, you and 5 million other people could boycott this game and not buy and all SE would do would be write it off as a "commercial flop and another reason not to learn from their mistake of losing way and going back to the kinds of games players enjoy from them, a final fantasy with the heart of final fantasy in it." They listen to sales numbers and threats to their PR, NOTHING ELSE.

So you want them to listen and realize that games like these are what we want? Call your friends, get on facebook or whatever social media, grab your wallets, and buy the hell out of this game so much so that it makes the sales from Expedition 33's sales look like the indie game it actully is!XD

THAT'S WHAT WILL GET THEIR ATTENTION.

Plane taxiing, landing and take off, parking spots and grass

I've built a few bases now and run into taxiway issues that needed to be solved. First and easiest is to just use the terrain change feature using just dirt to layout a roadway. (Obviously you can use any of the terrain types but dirt is free so i use it to start with and always plan on changing to tarmac eventually.) This however does not stop the planes from moving thru everything still. To get around that I add sandbags to outline the roadway and voila! You now have a pathway that the planes will follow provided it goes to the right side of the runway for takeoff lol. The next issue I ran into however became the width of said taxiways. Once I started adding the sandbags to both sides of the taxiway I quickly realized that if its not wide enough you will get an alert about no pathway to runway, and your planes will stop using it and start parking over top other planes in the wrong parking spots. So I did a little playing around with this to see what would work. I think I have discovered what seems to work. Planes using a tier 1 parking spot need a minimum taxi width of 8 grid squares, tier 2 spot planes need 10 minimum and 12 for tier 3 spot planes. as was stated earlier...this absolutely takes up alot of much needed space that we just dont have on the maps as is. So yeah we need larger maps for sure!!! Also like adding the runway direction feature, a feature to add taxiways and designate which tier planes should use them and the direction they flow would be a HUGE help for game!
