What exactly were you butchering? Some creatures will never give raw hides (giving scales or chitin instead). Some may be too small to give any useful butchering returns.

As for the skeleton, if it was a fortress animal it will never get "butchered" for parts. If it was a wild/hostile non-sentient creature, the butcher's shop will automatically queue butchering the skeleton into parts. For the former, it's essentially useless refuse that you can dispose of via atom-smashing or magma dumping.

There are modifiers as well to increase your health, lower game speed etc

I just encountered a Fatal Error after attempting to rebuild my base a few hours in. Had to reload my save..which was from maybe 30 mins into playing at all. Not sure I have the motivation to recoup 4+ hours

My Thoughts on the Game

If you’re into building, exploring, and scavenging for resources, this game will definitely grab your attention. It offers a solid experience for creative and strategic players.

That said, I feel like food is a bit too easy to come by—even on hard difficulty. It kind of takes away some of the survival pressure that you'd expect.

Also, I’d love to see more realism with defensive tools. For example, mines could be single-use only, so after they explode, you’d have to craft new ones. It would add an extra layer of strategy and resource management that the game is currently missing.

I would say give us the choice to keep it how it is or make adjustments to make some aspects of the game harder if we want to.

You have to get them changed, I know a ton of people who think speeding tickets are stupid it doesn't magically get changed becuase of it lol. Do nothing but breaking the law doesnt' change it lol. And the laws on the books your talking about excuse is MORALS lol.

Why its 100% legal in USA and steam is hosted in USA, as long as DLC patch is not on steam and hosted in japan and not included its legal here. They only went after ILLEGAL games sigh.
