It's painted as a continued existence, as Calyx believes there's no difference between an Endless and a corporeal life save for the flesh. He attributed the "soul" to memory, not... the soul.

It's the Star Trek transporter problem all over again. It doesn't matter that you were perfectly recreated down to the atom, a version of you was "killed" and then perfectly replicated. The animated series "Pantheon" also goes into this concept with Uploaded Intelligence, when a person is uploaded to be a "superior" digital life-form. The people agreeing to it see it as becoming immortal, escaping the limitations of their physical life, but it's acknowledged that in order to do it, the corporeal life needs to be ended, it's a perfect replication of their brain and memories.

It will always remain a more philosophical discussion, and in this case, Calyx sees it as nothing but an improvement where people transform their lives into a superior state that does not age or fall prey to disease or senseless murder or accidents.

Forget lockpicking and the IDIOCY behind those BROKEN systems in the game for a moment. Lets focus on the REAL game ender. Disease and poison. The IDIOTS behind these BROKEN systems are so bad in the implementation that in SINGLE handedly sabotages the game.

You diseased or poisoned YOU NEVER know when.
No cures available unless you have quested for temples.
You just basically slowly die.
No ways to solve just uninstall game.

I just have cleared the story mod of this game and played dungeon mod

This game is GOAT of Dungeon Crawling Games which i have played until this time for me

Imo if there were some QOL Patchs It could be more fun :)

1. Indicator around characters that show direction of cursor when Isometric view or top view

2. Better visible markers for player on the map

3. Indicators for direction of quest objectives on minimap

4. Remove of corpse ragdoll physics
