I dunno what to tell you. The subject matter is very clear. In return you just said, in very many words, that "no it doesn't" in your (wrong) opinion. Which just means you have bad reading comprehension

The closest thing to an omission in what you just said is "If my comrades wish for it, then..." isn't included in the English line. Except, it doesn't need to be. The entire game up to this point makes it abundantly clear that her comrades wish for it, they won't shut up about it. Her motivations are established at this point as well, we've learned everything we need to know about her motivations before Copen even enters into the room. Tenjian himself spells it out in Copen's battle against him, explaining his relationship to her and what they've been through together. As such, the line "Let's just say I'm strongly considering it" comes off as her dodging the question under the existing context of what she's been through, portraying her as hesitant to go through with it, but resolving herself to anyway because she believes it's what is best for her kind and it's what they desire.

Or to state it yet again, there's no omission of detail here based on what you yourself say the original Japanese line is. Only a slight exaggeration of her hesitancy to frame her as slightly mentally conflicted but overall resolved to her mission, which is mostly consistent with what you say is her Japanese portrayal of doing what she is doing not because she wants to but because it's what is expected of her and she believes she must.

They release copious amounts of DLC for all their games, some of it worth while and some not. Either way, you'll be paying for every little bit of it - you get *nothing* extra for free with Paradox. It's like they looked at what Larian Studios did with Baldur's Gate 3 and said "let's do the exact opposite".

They don't want goodwill. They only accept cold, hard, cash.

The problem is it's not DLC if it's available day 1, that a blatant pay wall. And of all things to "DLC", the clans is the absolute worst since it dictates so much of the experience of Bloodlines. It's like buying a racing game on release day, but you have to pay extra for access to the steering wheel.

I would argue that both is a problem, Paradox clearly cuts content from most of their games to release later as DLC. They just did it a bit more blatantly this time than they have previously, but it's all the same thing. If you buy a product from them, you're basically buying a storefront you'll be expected to throw money into at some point.
