Thanks for testing it out again! While it is intentional for the Bolt Thrower to not receive ammo from ammo pickups, *losing* ammo is definitely a bug. My plan is to add specific Bolt Thrower ammo bundles and improve the pickup system for better player feedback. I've also got a plan for reworking the weapon selection interface so it can support more weapons without just clipping off the description. Sounds like these things should be the focus of the next update.

Yes, people who enforce the rules are quite different from those who are subject to the rules. That seems to be something that you're not getting. They're in an appointed position of power and the ones who get to say when they've broken whatever rules they adhere to, are the developers/publishers and Valve.

For Steam hubs, Valve is the one who decides if the moderators they're paying for are doing the job as instructed. In both cases, they're subject to different rules, ones that we do not even have access to.

What you're not getting is that I'm saying it shouldn't be the case. You haven't made it quite clear which side of the fence you stand on, but one can only presume that you think this is the way it ought to be.

Do you think the same way of, oh let's say your local police? Should they get to speed off-duty or drink and drive but arrest you for the same thing? Fingers-crossed the day never comes, but if public speech gets moderated the same way online speech does nowadays, should cops be allowed to insult you but then throw the rulebook at you if you flip them the finger? We're not allowed to challenge moderation, so why don't we apply the same rule elsewhere in our lives? Why should any student be able to challenge their teacher? Why should citizens be able to challenge a charge against them when it is conducted by an authoritative entity?

You can challenge moderation by responding to the ban/warning or contacting Support. For Game hub bans, you can contact the developer/publisher if the ban/warning was applied by their moderators. Challenging moderation on the forums is not allowed because it's useless. Other users can't see deleted posts, moderation messages etc. so they're effectively left in the dark. On top of that, there's only users on the forums, so it's pointless to begin with. Always use the proper channels for your complaints.

The thing is, this is about game forums owned and managed by private parties. They set the rules, enforce the rules and decide how much transparency and other things they want. They're here to make money, not uphold laws. Getting rid of users that might drive others away, even if they don't break any clear rules, is a business choice that most will take as long as it doesn't mean driving the majority of your customer base away.

As for the police, they already operate by different rules. They're representatives of the legal monopoly on violence that belongs to the state. The police can walk around with visible weapons, but if a regular dude did that, they'd get police called on them fast. They can give orders to you, detain you etc. and if you resist, you'll be hit with charges. Now if you're ordering some strangers around, they can just ignore you. Get physical with them, in many cases you'll catch charges. Someone drives over a police officer with a car, they'll be charged with murder. Do the same to a regular dude and get charged with manslaughter.

Police can do wiretapping and all kinds of other activities that would be highly illegal if done by normal citizens. There's plenty of situations when the rules are indeed different and that's fine because the alternative would be chaos.

How to recover from early game bad situation?

With some chars I dont enter first dungeon until some lvl 3-4 - with all gerar slots filled and extra char points spend.

Also duial wield is the tpe of char that dont work at best so early, if you would stick with jsut weapon + shíeld first levels it would probably do you better.
