So far my trusty crowbar 2.0 has been enough, I don't like base building a lot (in any game, not just AF) so I just have the strict necessary to craft what I need and get back to exploring, I didn't even put up barricades or traps.

Eventually you are gonna have to use building to trap the leyak though if you haven’t already.

I was wondering when I'll get to do that, he seems like a nice guy but yeah, gotta contain him.

A fleet carrier is a money printing machine. If you're worried about upkeep costs, you're doing it wrong. 5 minutes in game, is usually enough to cover my upkeep costs for at least 6 months.

It would be much better if you just described what "doing it right" is supposed to be.

Sadly outside of the sexy character designs this game doesn't have much going for it. It's just a bad imitation of Dark and Darker. I'll still play it for a bit, but I'll likely drop it after 20-40 hours like I did both Darker and Darker and Dungeonborne. When will get one of these types of games, but with faster and more interesting combat like Elden Ring?

Why do they all feel the need to make the level obnoxiously dark? Is it because Dark and Darker did it first so all the follow ups are like hur dur we have to do it to? I love not being able to see ♥♥♥♥, it makes combat and exploration so much funner /s.

Do you know what really brings exploration to life guys? I'll tell ya, moving 1 inch per second like a f***ing snail its so much fun /s.

Do you know what makes combat fun and exciting? Take every part of it and make it as slow and clunky as humanely possible. Just because Dark and Darker wanted to be slow and boring doesn't mean you have to be as well. This medium needs something fun and exciting for once, not more copy and paste boredom.

Do you know what the best and funnest kinda PvP monetization is? Definitely the pay to progress faster and pay for advantages kind. No game in the history of the entire universe has highly profitable by selling ONLY COSMETICS /s. Game is p2w by my definition and many others as well. Just sell the battle pass, but without the playable character on it, sell outfits and emotes. Remove characters from the shop and make them free out of the gate. I only played for a bit, but from what I could see it will take months to unlock new character to play and there are 3 characters that need to purchased/earned to play as.

Last note stop with the gender locked classes already. Every class should should have both a male and female variant.

Anyways game's doomed, I give it 2 years tops before EoS, I'll play for a bit since its free, admire me some jiggling booty for a bit and then go on to something else. This game fixes none of the issues of the medium and brings nothing new to the table, All its got going for it is a couple good looking waifu's, and 3 classes I'll never play because they aren't waifu's.
