I've never noticed any "lag spikes" or needed mods for stability, and I have no idea what Oblivion's FPS are when it ran / runs on my PCs. For me its excellent performance, fully meets my expectations.
If it's less than you expect, then perhaps your expectations are not justified. Does Oblivion's specification and documentation mention anything specific about performance, FPS, etc?

well you probably cap it to 60fps so you wouldn't notice any lag spikes

and why would i check anything from Bethesda besides system requirements and patch notes?

Obviously it also depends on your performance in matches.

Capping flags awards the most multiplier at x15 followed by kills and then revives. So if you want to get more then 3 pips then capture the objectives.

For reference, I average around 6-7pips per match as I cap 15-16 flags a match and play Falck using defibs.

They already couldn't estimate the release date. Currently it says Q3-2025, I'm sure this will be postponed. Otherwise they would have determined the release date already by this time..

geez here we go again with another hooded horse game that keeps getting pushed as they release endless descriptions screens shots and trailers for a EA or demo that will never happen.

Have the devs mentioned anything regarding cloud saves in their discord? They seem to have a lot of the feedback sent there but there's barely any communication in here.

Why does everyone always expect an endless game-as-a-service? The game was designed, produced and released. That's it. What the game is now, it will always be, unless modded. Why is that a bad thing? Not every game needs a billion updated and DLCs. Just enjoy things...
