Autohotkey is a scripting language for automating keyboard tasks or mouse clicks or to automate processes.

maybe part of some other software package that allows for automating tasks or creating macros.

creation software, music photo video editors etc may use it for processing ques.

or desktop shortcut software. for launching multiple processes and doing things.

so it maybe a part of something your totally unaware of.

so basically, EA requires me to google every single software i own and find the one that might be able to automate key presses, then uninstall that (because litterally NOTHING else is running that isnt auto-running on start up other than steam) just to play BF6?

its probably my wacom software, and im not about to uninstall that for this since killing the process didnt fix it

Why would wacome install autohotkey with its software?
That makes no sense it's more likely your mouse or keyboard uses some kind of software that does something similair to autohotkey or maybe your infected with malware that registers your keystrokes.

Oh snap it's right there. That definitely changes things. The advice of 1 radar per base (until you're rich end game) + sending interceptors to the little messages on the map makes a lot more sense now, not just chasing aliens that leave the radar zone.

Edit: You can also allow dropship to "return to base" if you accidentally arrive during night time, then click on the dropship to "select new target" to come back during the day. No need to hit F5/F9 while you're sending the slow Skyhawk to the other side of the globe.

you can also set your dropship to "patrol" mode to kill time at a spot while you wait for daylight or whatever. At least, that option was there when I finished the game a couple of months back. can't see why they would remove it.
