I'm done with this crap, SEGA! You are not going to keep getting away with this anti-consumer practice of putting Denuvo on your titles and never removing them after a set time! Get rid of it!

Also, NO voice acting for the DLC characters? Not even the SEGA or additional Sonic DLC characters? That is pure unadulterated laziness, especially looking at smaller games like Nick All-Star Brawl 2 that didn't do that with its DLC lineup! If they can do it, what's your excuse? Oh right, you ain't got one!

And if I'm boycotting Mario Kart World for it being $80, then I'm gonna pass on Sonic Racing CrossWorlds too since realistically it's $90 for all the content advertised. Base game content alone isn't even worth the $70 price tag just for that (not counting the free update characters, especially considering those will be annoyingly drip-fed despite being complete). Either drop the price to what it is on the Nintendo Switch 1, or get what you deserve by people rejecting your overpriced kart racer.

Not a major point of contention, but it might be for some:
LOCKING YOUR FASTEST SPEED SETTING BEHIND COMPLETION?! This isn't 2012 SEGA, this is 2025. Let us play at Super Sonic Speed out of the box! It's a SONIC THE HEDGEHOG kart racer after all!

And even though the censorship on Rouge from SXSG has carried over to this game, it pales in comparison to the bigger issues I've listed. Still never gonna let any censorship from that game go, and am certain Amy's portrayal is still just as watered down as ever. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now. Screw Denuvo.

You can however just use it with Bluetooth. Idk which button does that, but if you hold one of the ABXY buttons while powering it on, it'll switch modes.

Search for Steam controller Bluetooth mode, you'll find it. I'm in mobile now so too lazy to search and copy links, takes forever.

EDIT: It's B. Hold B while you press the Steam button.

eh they earned my patience with all the great FREE updates over the years for a $10 game. the amount of content is already pretty immense.
it'll happen when it happens. I have other things to do, responsibilities and the like, and other games.
it's nice to just check in every few months to see if anything has happened. usually nothing, but whatever. 'it's coming soon!', eh. as long as there is progress being made, I think it's fine. if there was a monthly subscription or some sort of cost to the waiting, or if I had pre-ordered or paid for this update, I'd be upset. but it's literally free.
and besides tmodloader, nice. the official support and integration for that alone has earned my patience twice over. no mucking about with the files and making a second copy of terraria while spending hours browsing a forum. now i spend hours browsing the ingame mod browser or the workshop. and the forums.
if you're so impatient for 1.4.5, try playing modded terraria or find something else to play. I can understand how your patience is at an end, but instead of being upset at them for taking too long, find something else to do. you can still be upset, of course, but there isn't really anything that you can do to speed up the development. you have no tangible stake in it. you've bought the game for a very low price and gotten everything initially promised and more.
at this point this is a passion project, not necessarily a full-time job with overtime. I don't know their work schedules or anything, but I'm not expecting them to be overworking themselves. the update is certainly snowballing, but that's a common issue. although the several years of waiting have certainly raised my expectations. if there isn't a handful of new mechanics and perhaps some biomes, I'll be wondering what the schedule was like, or what the plans for the update actually were.

Just no, it's boring when every single game has to pander to the next highest bidder in the oppression olympics and then when it's not enough they will have smear articles written about their company because unhinged fragile alphabet folk got offended by the apperance of an attractive straight biological caucasian female character. It's not hate speech when all I ask is no politics in my games if you want representation, then go make your own games better yet make new characters and stop altering pre-existing characters backstories, sexualities or identities to fit your narrative. Not everything in life has to have a spotlight on it to be acknowledged if you can't fathom that then this thread is specifically tailored just for you.
