Despite the secureboot thing i decided to try it anyway becouse im pretty much starving for a good battlefield game, but i cannot even get to the main menu as i get this pretty nice message:

Tryied updating drivers, reinstalling/repairing DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable to no effect. Hope you guys have more luck than me.

You could say you can't play BF6 because of how you hate Windows. It's easier to blame others for your choices though.

Just explain to them that you don't have the key anymore due to how many years ago it was. Then ask if there is anything else you can send them instead as proof of ownership.

Don't tell them what you can send, let them suggest an alternative.

I've been trying to find a way to run the game, but as soon as I start the game, the whole system will freeze and I have to force restart the system. After spending a couple days googling and testing, I found that any game that uses Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) will freeze as soon as the game starts or just before anti cheat runs.
Game I tried Fate trigger, Dungeonborne, Infinity Nikki are all having the same issues.
Things I tried:
Reinstalling the game
verifying file integrity
Enable core isolation (memory integrity)
running Core director
Reinstalling gpu driver (only have nvdia control panel)
Disabling Antivirus programs (kaspersky)
Compatibility mode
etc..

The only thing that I suspect right now is that some other program that has access to kernel level is interfering with ACE from starting up. ( I have hwinfo, not sure if it might be the cause)...I m really tired. I guess maybe I should just give up any game that has ACE or can someone help me.....

I fully scanned my PC with professional antivirus and antimalware tools

I revoked all API keys

I changed all my passwords

I formatted my drive months ago

I do not use cheats or any third-party tools

This is not about my machine being compromised. It’s about a critical flaw on Steam’s side:

Even after revoking the API key and securing everything, the same scammer was able to access and confirm trades, and Steam’s 7-day trade protection didn’t activate at all. That’s not user error — that’s a platform-level vulnerability.

Steam keeps closing my tickets without resolving anything. I’m not blaming the wrong source here — I’m reporting a real problem that could affect anyone.

If Steam doesn’t investigate and fix this, more users will fall victim the same way, even with clean systems.

If there was a "critical security breach" on steam then much more valuable inventories than yours would have been stolen by now.
