Game looks great and right up my alley, but before buying it I was curious as to what the devs have in store, and I couldn't find mention of eventual future plans in the release post.

Not from what I've observed. If that setting is off they will go to a location, pick up whatever they can, and move on the next order, or wait if they are given no further orders.

They won't try and return to a warehouse on their own.

Delta Force has an extraction mode thats full of cheaters, Arena Breakout Infinite is nothing but extraction mode, also full of cheaters. COD DMZ is kinda like an extraction mode i think it's dead though so probably less cheaters. Arc Raiders is coming out in a few months by the old battlefield team its an extraction game will have tons of cheaters. I mean man you got a lot of great games if you want PVP.
