Could very well be that the studio making the Definitive edition doesn't have license to allow mods or modding through workshop.

In the trailer it says "64 Bit Update, supporting thousands of community mods" So yes, mods are clearly going to be allowed.

Can we make it so the compost/barrel/campfires easier to mass produce with? like drag and make all of them start on the same type of product. clicking each time for 10 fert is crazy work.

You want the art team to take away all the details and keep it simple? i mean...there is customisation in the game, just choose a basic one

For me the core danger in the Mesa is the heat.

Right now you're battling heat, poison from scorpions, whatever status effect a cactus causes, tornados, tumble weed, dynamite, lack of items... along with all the regular status effects.

It's already quite the struggle to get through it imo.

I could see a periodic sandstorm like the blizzard in the ice area which adds another negative status effect or obstructs the view a bit but I'm not sure how much fun that would be.
I think the Mesa causes a lot of status effects already and not being able to see in games is a pet peeve of mine which is rather annoying than challenging.

However I respect your opinion and suggestion and I'm glad people can still say their piece without being disrespected by others.

In social servers it's daily. Just leave them be and they're chill.
