Pretty sure that's more a Japanese company doing the usual route of just not caring about any market besides Europe, North America. The fact that Brazil and many other places NEVER get regional pricing when it's baked into Steam is beyond me. How y'all haven't just devolved into piracy entirely is beyond me.

Sniper was meant to be a god tier class in the hands of a professional. In the last number of years it was a class any ♥♥♥♥♥ could cheat with.

People therefore think sniper is unfair because of all the shenanigans. However, that type of power is OKAY in the hands of a trained professional who has earned it.

Those type of people are RARE, so therefore sniper is not overpowered.

tl;dr cheats make sniper unfair, rare humans with god tier skill make it reasonable.

If a Soldier who can speedrun jump_rickoconnell in their sleep and singlehandedly steamroll Casual teams as Trolldier crosses half the map to perform a barely possible jump through a flank route to score a Sniper pick and leaves about a quarter of a second of time to react to their approach, it's okay for them to get quickscoped and die just outside Market Gardener range because the Sniper is skilled, too? Is the Sniper's godlike skill somehow better than the Soldier's godlike skill AND bigger commitment?

A goated Soldier knows when and where to jump. Most of the Soldiers you see getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by a Sniper are Soldiers that do unnecessary jumps or straight up don't know how to jump. Besides, you don't need to do these super tryhard sweaty showoff jumps to ♥♥♥♥ a Sniper lol.

Don't expect to win a fight simply because you've selected the right class/counter or have gotten the upper hand. In TF2, a cornered low HP Soldier can still win against a God Pyro that knows how to reflect, but don't expect this to happen all the time. What I'm trying to say is; Sniper will always be at a disadvantage if you get close to him, but that doesn't mean that he's a free kill.

You can commit to a lot of things and even showoff your superior 'skills' in the process, but if you do something stupid and or unnecessary, you will get punished. Sometimes you don't need to do all of these tricks, sometimes you just need to play 'smart'.

The hatred of Sniper comes from unskilled casuals and low level pseudo intellectuals that think they're hot ♥♥♥♥, but in reality they're just ♥♥♥♥.
