The quicksand is rather easy to see, there is no need for a mini map to avoid it.

Planning your route also helps you avoid it.

The smokey wavey areas of sand. Avoid those when you see them.

In 500 hours of game play, I've lost 2 sandbike to the quicksand. I had no idea the first time I went in quicksand what it was. 2nd time I forgot to check the map.

You can't even give people pointers if they are doing something wrong unintentionally and dying for no reason. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid that the lobby lets you chat but not the game.

So after allot of trial and error, reinstalling my graphics drivers fixed my issue.
