Yep i'd be surprised if that changed since the China/JP server is about 2 years ahead of global release although I will agree that the drop rate for A and S rank weapons is quite low.

What I would suggest to minimise the frustration somewhat:
1. Do fast kills for whatever boss gives you drops you want as this greatly reduces the cost for doing sweep clear (can get as low as about 11 stamina per sweep which isn't too bad and I recommend doing this for only 1 or two bosses at a time since in the later Clearance Ops they have up to a potential 4 bosses in a map) otherwise you'll likely end up wasting most of your energy which should instead be focused on Elite Battles for your ST materials and trials for pilot skills.

2. You generally don't need more than one or two S rank weapons for your team, so a high level purple is more than enough damage wise especially once you've unlocked the Arena and give an appropriate advanced mod.

Secureboot stops various undetected cheats from being used because they use the bios launch up list to hide their cheats in it.

For the vast majority of PC users, turning on Secureboot isn't gonna cause any problems. It's just gonna be a flip of a switch and it's done. If the PC doesn't like Secureboot you can turn it off.

The very few that have issues are a minority and for them it's just tough luck.
EA wants to fight against cheaters and Secureboot is one way to do it.


Btw you probably went into the Bios to turn on XMP for your RAM.

I appreciate the explanation.. but how is this information supposed to change the situation? Are you conceptually okay with developers of triple A titles pushing the masses to intervene on sensitive computer settings and rely on "majority" or "luck" to be able to play a game they pay for? Just because they are incapable of dealing with cheaters? >>Regardless of how easy or functional it is<<
