Why do you think anything they do would necessitate a wipe?

A soft wipe leaves characters alone and their gold in the bank. It wipes all rides, bases and storage.

With several updates they have done this and my players are asking.

The dev said update he did not say hot fix!

I've been through several wipes now, but I do appreciate the thought. I was just curious what you thought would bring one about. Honestly if they wipe this early without fixing stuff (and we know CON isn't going to be on that list anyway) I think that might be it for me and Scum. I've already spent 3/4 of the time I've been in the game just running trying to keep it level or gain modestly. They have my money already anyway though so I'm sure they don't care.

The only way for this game to survive is by making it free for a while.
