Im considering buying this title, it looks pretty good and seems to have potential.
But doing a little research I found out a lot of cons like no save game, limited map destruction, nukes that do only limited map damage, bugs short campaign with limited to not replayability and so on.

What worries me is that I’m getting the idea the developers rushed it into release for the full price of a finished product, and what worries me even more is that the developers don’t seem to be motivated to fix what needs to be fixed.

So in your honest opinion, is this worth buying, should I wait or not buy it at all?

I just started playing and this game keeps stuttering. I haven't even completed a boss fight. I was just killing bats and collecting flowers at the starting area.

Just do dumb stuff and try to have fun. If you don't focus on the scoreboard your performance improves tenfold. Also there's the MvM mode which is pve coop. Play boot camp or community though. Don't play mann up ever

I'd argue that mann up can be both more fun and rewarding more than boot camp or community mvm, but yeah if getting killed/domed makes someone have a breakdown, having someone screaming at them for having the wrong upgrades will make them have an even worse breakdown lol.

Not to say it won't happend regardless, but it's more common on mann up compared to bootcamp or community mvm.

The stun knife strategy does not seem to work for me. It may not trigger and its a very narrow window to try and hit the nose and dodge.

A sweep from lvl 100+ polar bear eats half the health, gives deep wounds and using bandages is just too slow (they get to attack you again while you try).
I can't 100% reliably do the sidestep - sometimes the terrain just trip you a little or the bear decides to stop earl, turns and swipes at you. And that one hit can already be pretty deadly.

Missing the nose with the knife does effectively no damage. Even hitting the nose with titanium (+melee perks, food) does not hurt them that much anymore.

I did spec into knife/melee damage but that feels like a waste as content gets harder (so i need to spend credits for new respec points if i want to try to switch).

Spears for extra distance? Guns perhaps (but haven't even unlocked any - high resource cost to even reach them). Flamethrower?

Mammoths etc are not nearly as bad since i can still outrun/evade them and make use of distance, but beers are too agile.
They close the gap fast and remain within melee range. Healing is meaningless in combat.

So several things are possible.
1: Your brother doesnt have it through steam
2: He privated the game
3: You're somehow kicked from the steam family.

Other things may be at play but I think these are the most likely options.
