I own both of these as well, does it just replace those? Or is it separate games?

Appears to have been replaced, the store page for the old one was taken down and replaced with the one for the new one. You can still play the originals though.

Add a random FLATULENCE state wherein the scavenger would randomly make noise that would alert nearby zombies.

It would be hilarious...and scary at the same time.

With everything about Secure Boot, how to change BIOS, and the possibility of needing to change even more computer settings once the official game is out for public grabs... I think imma just wait. I'm not computer savvy and have seen plenty of "If your computer breaks, its not our fault" type messages about changing BIOS and playing with Secure Boot on a PC. I really look forward to playing the game and I am so excited about the idea, but to potentially mess up a PC to prevent cheaters is wild. Cheaters will find their way in anyway, happens with every game.

My solution: Pay more attention to the gameplay of players marked for cheating. Not require a PC config to essentially prolong the inevitable.

if you can't pay the shark at any point is it a complete game over? i've been too scared to find out.

It’s not about what we want, it’s about what’s being presented against what’s being offered. Yes, we want the WotL content, else we wouldn’t be having this discussion. That’s a given and not the point.

The point is the absurd leaps that are being made to justify this being a faithful adaptation of the original FFT, except it isn’t, because it’s cherry-picked so many things from WotL that it may as well be WotL, except it isn’t, because they decided to leave out the WotL content for no discernible reason.

The conflict arises when folks are dismissing all of this and not taking that under advisement. Yes, we know the WotL content is missing. Whether or not it’s “cut” is somewhat semantics, but when the game is presented in the quality level of WotL but lacks WotL content, it sends a mixed message.

The worst part, I think, is that you all know this, and willingly ignore it for the purposes of inciting rage. That’s the bad faith that’s being pointed out.

Sure if you wanna have that conversation, but they conversation i was having is about what if they remade it in a new engine, no content, no presentation as if it was WotL. Even if a scene looked somewhat similar in nature in a new engine to something prior it wouldn't have bin that, the hypothetical i posed was without arguments prior made to this remake.

Now if you wanna talk about how this game was presented we can go back to that, as far as i am aware only the Classic version is the faithful remake. The "enhanced version" by its sheer name wouldn't be faithful, but rather its the telling of the story the Original director wanted to tell, with more in depth detail into it. things that got cut or otherwise.

So the only argument for the faithful version or the classic, is someone elses choice to use the script from WotL. I have posed this before, if the only version that's meant to be "faithful" is the classic, and all this info is just for the enhanced version, then aren't we jumping the gun so to speak on what the intent is here?

Yeah great, i like me some WotL content to, i would have preferred a toggle or somethings, but the arguments being made are using all the "new features" that are for the enhanced mode which doesn't promise a fully faithful game, to the classic version. But rather a story they wanted to further tell. In that story its that the Fell knight or DK class is an enemy class and that Balthiar and Lusso aren't in universe it would seem. the Onion Knight was always a dumb class lol

The choice was made, i don't need to justify it, i'm just saying its not really a bother to me. however in no scenario does it seem to be justifiable to not have WotL content. Which is why i posed the hypothetical remake in UE5 where it was a remake of the 1997 version. Not of WotL. If it has nothing from the game and its still unacceptable? how is that reasonable?

I put a bounty on my own building trying to click a creature, and I couldn't remove it. The minus gold buttons are dimmed out all the time. So my heroes just went to town destroying the building and I couldn't stop it.
