I agree! It's pretty weird seeing some with a very robust selection, then you've got a Bill.

Well with Bill I think it might be harder to have a lot of skins and hes a licensed character.

But some of their own, original ones barely get any love.

Every new rift pass its the same survivors getting everything, its boring and tiresome.

I have completed the mission "Rise from the Ashes" but it did not gave me the rewards at the end. I'm at 524 prestige (stars) and did not got the 100 prestige (stars) at the end. Also it did not gave me another mission (not sure it should, but...).


To explain a little better, if needed, to finish the mission you need to be at 524 prestige (stars) so it allow you to repair the last station and complte the mission. Once I've completed the mission it never finished. So I had to leave the game and open it again. After openning it then the cut scene of the "scary" phone call appeared and the mission completed. But I never got the 100 prestige (stars) at the end, when I should go up to 624 (the 524 I had before plus the 100 of the mission completion).

Agreed, Grounded 2 should not exist in its current state. As you said, It is not a true sequel but Grounded 1.5, a DLC sold at full price. The original Grounded sold 20 million copies at $40 each ($800 million), so Obsidian and Eidos Montreal had the resources to craft a masterpiece sequel. Instead, they recycled assets and mechanics, delivering a polished but shallow rehash that leans on the first game’s charm without real innovation.

Graphics: The visuals are sharper, but better graphics do not make a great game. The miniaturized park aesthetic, while cool in Grounded 1, feels lifeless here. They missed the chance to create something extraordinary, settling for a standard, mediocre experience. No wind rustling grass, no rain altering terrain, no dynamic events like ant swarms or a human gardener causing chaos. The world is static, wasting endless opportunities for an evolving, addictive environment. A living world needs reactive systems, not just prettier textures.

Story: The narrative is dull, predictable, and lacks Grounded 1’s spark. Main quests are repetitive chores with no compelling context, and without tapes or files, exploration feels empty. Interaction is just resource grinding, not discovery.

Fanboys will cry, “It is Early Access, give it time!” or “You do not get the vibe!” But Early Access is not an excuse for a full-price game that feels like a content patch. The core structure, the game’s pillars, is already set, making it unlikely to evolve into something truly better. I have maxed builds, explored for days, and it still feels like a skin of the original. If you love Grounded 1, demand a real sequel. This is your chance to be picky without guilt. Do not settle for this expensive "DLC".

Grounded 2 needed dynamic weather, evolving ecosystems, or a gripping story to justify itself. Instead, it is a cash grab riding the original’s goodwill. I will skip this disappointment and wait for a "true" Grounded 3 masterpiece or at least a steep discount.

I have no idea what are you mumbling about, and don't use my comment to justify your opinion, I don't want to be a part of it. I have less complains that you can imaging. So stay away from me

Spirit Callers are able to commune with the spirits around them, asking them to aid their allies and decimate their foes.

Long description:

Elves are intrinsically magical beings, who share a strong bond with the spirits. However, not all elves are talented enough to become powerful spellsingers. Spirit callers are common elves who do not have he sheer magical talent of spellsingers, but whose bond to the spirits allows them to nevertheless command the elements at their fingertips. They can ask the fire spirits to lessen the burden of fire on their allies, ask the wind and earth spirits to block incoming attacks, and ask the water spirits to hinder their enemies movements. They can also ask the fire spirits to burn away their enemies, whose rage causes their fire to intensify into a blue flame that burns away all in their path, at the expense of its accuracy.
