JUMPSCARE WARNING

If you are playing the campaign then you should move every building that provides its bonuses globally to the Acid biome (do that biome first), because there you have infinite Sludge/Gas for infinite Gas power plants.

This includes things like Carbonium/Ironium Synth, all Research, all ammo production and everything else that provides its benefits globally (affects all bases/biomes).

Getting the fancy minerals needed to upgrade Gas plants will tremendously help with the above.

If you want to cheese it even further you can use the Liquid Compressor/Decompressor to move Gas from Acid biomes to a different biome/map to fuel your Gas Power Plants there (especially the upgraded Gas Plants) for map specific buildings like AI cores and Rare Ore Miners.

Personally i never use Solar unless its 200% or the Wind is penalized, because Solar requires way too much power storage and too much physical space (including storage buildings), and there are TONS of random weather penalties for solar but very few for winds.
Overall i would prefer if the Solar building came with its own power storage for the 24h cycle.

Animal/plant thing isnt something i ever found a use for.
Morphium is a bit overpowered if i remember right but locked behind campaign progress.

Nuclear you can use to get the base running in the Radiation biome , but after that i would switch to the Gas + Decompressor since its infinite (doesnt eat uranium).

Magma is only for that awful awful awful biome, imho finish those missions and gtfo of it.
Get those Lava biome minerals from cultivators or something else, unless you enjoy the Lava biome for base building.

Actually. It doesnt. I have been using a manual page file since I can remember. Never any issues.

If there were such issues with using a page file. MSFT would have removed that option long ago and just let Windows always control it. But here we are. Win 11 and I can still configure it to whatever I want.

I think it's generally an AI thing and not due to any mismanagement. The AI is frustrating at times, ignoring priority schemes and mismanaging starvation and disease even when you think you have tons of food and granaries piled full. Stupid NPCs literally die within arms reach of food and ignore starvation for baffling reasons, so domesticated animals dying is NOT your fault.
