There is a HUGE difference between accepting some sexualization, and complaining when it is absent or removed. You can criticize the sexualization and still enjoy the games.
I've been playing since Persona II. Back when it was an Shin Megami Tensei spin off. I'm put off a bit by the sexualization. Not enough to stop being a huge fanboy of SMT/Persona.
Only tourists complain about the lack of gooner bait.
no, because what you're saying is that you're a fan of censorship when it doesn't appeal to your sensitivities. try another franchise and not the one that's been sexualising females for over a decade now.

Wow that's a pretty broad stretch of logic.

1. "No" to what? To the difference between accepting sexualization and whining that it wasn't given to you? Yeah there is a huge difference. And even if I were talking about censorship it doesn't make my statement wrong.
2. Nowhere did I endorse censorship. Having a small issue with something doesn't espouse it's removal.
3. Don't ever talk to me about my "sensibilities". You wouldn't even know where to begin.
4. I don't have to "try" anything. I play whatever I want. I can just as easily tell you to try one of the many hentai games on Steam and leave Persona for those who like the series for it's substantial features, not one or two costumes worn by a singular cast member. I won't though, because that's silly. Play whatever you want, for whatever reason you want. But don't try to gatekeep a series I've probably been playing longer than you've been alive.

The ending is fine, it's just too realistic for most people

So a lot of people criticize the ending but it's actually very realistic and what you can expect from a "princess, peasant, over-protective father" storyline where that father is also a powerful mafia don. It's not at all a happy ending. Yeah, it's predictable and there's a lot of foreshadowing but realism often is not happy.

The problem is that the player is operating a character who they are immersed into but don't have complete control over, where the player would make entirely different decisions if they were living that life. The plot and video game is linear where you are at the mercy of the video game and how the developers intended it to end where there isn't multiple endings to achieve like other video games.

When it comes to the protagonist, I would have had an entirely different plan that would have been foolproof, but you can't enact that plan because it's railroaded to tell a very specific narrative where ingratiating yourself into a crime family is not something you can easily escape from. You can't keep secrets forever. This is a common trope and theme among every Mafia video game.

Enzo's mistake was simply that he just waited a bit too long. His opportunity for leaving with Isabella was while the family was hunting down the estranged captains of the enemy organization. You escape while it is most chaotic and dangerous, not after everything is safe and calm.
"too realistic" - realistic? it's not realistic at all, the motives just weren't there anymore for that kind of ending, the end of the family sure, but the entire holding out hand to achieve literally nothing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupidly designed. The entire ending was just ♥♥♥♥♥

Fighting on the side of an erupting volcano to the death with a mafia don only to get the London experience for reasons that still kind of elude me, followed by the worlds newest horror survival game featuring a pregnant woman running from a creepy Italian man whos trying to abort her baby.

100% too realistic.

Ignoring the sarcasm, Isabella managing to escape the villa is actually probably the most unrealistic part of the game next to Enzo being a one-man army. Realistically, she isn't going to know how to use a hair pin to pick locks and then sneak around the villa as people are looking for her and then fight Tino and actually kill him. That's all just video game entertainment factor, and she's sort of a Mary Sue in that regard. It's the most 'woke' the game gets by suddenly thrusting her into achieving the impossible all because they can't possibly harm a pregnant lady after killing her boyfriend. That's one flaw of modern storytelling: Violence against women is a no-no.

Trust me, the ending would be considered even worse for most players if developers took that into consideration. At least all of the bad guys are dead among the main family and players can feel some sense of vindication. I was cheering for Tino's death since the beginning, I just wish we had the choice to do so as Enzo before the final chapter.

She'd have had a forced abortion but would have probably survived, been resentful and maybe hired assassins to eliminate any surviving family members as she seemingly always felt like a prisoner to her father and I doubt her dad would let her leave if the plan with Enzo was more successful. As a woman in this time period of Italy, they would have underestimated her wrath and need for vengeance and thought her to be helpless and harmless, and Isabella is very obviously designed to be a woman with aspirations for a different life. So if she had nothing more to live for? It's either s^icide or getting revenge after losing the only man she felt treated her like a normal person, and her baby.

As for the crew ignoring the early phases of volcanic eruption . . . yes, I think it's realistic. Minus the historical accounts of this happening numerous times (see: Pompeii), their self-preservation measured it more likely to capture/kill Enzo in that moment and then escaping safely rather than immediately defying the don's orders and running away. The don himself expected Enzo to die in his newly appointed office as mine supervisor but he happened to escape with a conveniently timed quake that distracted his captors, and I'm sure the don thought they'd chase him down and end him quickly enough.

Judging by your most recent response in believing that every ending must be a happy one, you just don't like sad endings where the hero doesn't get the girl, and that's fine. But there's nuance to what is and is not a good ending and it isn't mutually exclusive that a sad ending cannot still be a good (or realistic) ending.

But Enzo's journey is indeed realistic. Isabella, perhaps not so much.
Cezare just teleporting around the mines lmfao..... yeah realistic - he was left alive earlier but then magically appears exactly where the fight with don torrisi ends, yeah very realistic and then his actual motives for stabbing Enzo were gone the second he saw Don Torrisi dead, the entire ending was just ♥♥♥♥♥
