Are you an official representative of the game, or just a fanboy?

Your arguments are totally invalid. I bought the game because I saw an official note saying they were releasing a complete base game.

I totally support those who haven't bought the game yet — I don't trust just words anymore. I trust what I can actually play. So, about the DLC you mentioned — in concept, it sounds great, but what about reality?

I don't see DLC as good news. In fact, I see it as bad news. DLC usually means it might not be free, unlike regular game updates. So if they're calling it a DLC instead of an update, I can sense a bad intention — because DLCs can have a price, while updates usually don’t. So yeah, announcing a DLC is bad in every possible way.

This game is one of the most hyped alternatives to The Sims 4. But that hype isn't just because of the game itself. Sims 4 isn't a bad game, but if you take only the base game (which is free), it's a piece of sh*t. That's it. I don't play Sims 4 — not because it's bad, but because it needs tons of expensive paid DLCs to become a good game. And I simply won't pay for that.

So if inZOI is following the same path, I'm sure there are many people like me who will never play it or stay interested. That's why we need an official announcement from the inZOI team: Are you planning to release paid DLCs? If so, tell us now, so we can move on and stop wasting time or following news about this game.

That’s all.

And of course, anyone can come here to ask or discuss — that’s one of the main reasons Steam has such a massive player base. But if you're just another player, you can stay quiet — our questions are meant for the inZOI team, not for random fans.

I share your opinion about Sims 4, but the early access status of inZOI is already better than the base game of Sims 4 – and that doesn’t give you hope? (Weather, open world, character traits, graphics, driving, AI, etc.)

Because you see the term “DLC” as a bad sign, you’re painting the whole game in a negative light without knowing how it will actually turn out later? Honestly, I think that’s too early. But I also think the developers should say something about it again because the term DLC confuses a lot of people.

People are complaining without knowing how the game will really be at release.
But hey, I’d be with you and upset too if they really release it as it is now or as it will be at the end of the roadmap. Or if this DLC ends up costing money and they don’t do anything else with the game, basically leaving it to modders instead of working on it themselves – like Electronic Arts does. Then I’d fully understand and stand with those who keep complaining.

The thing is, we simply don’t know yet. If you’re unsure, you shouldn’t buy it yet, but wait. That’s right.
But to put the blame everywhere with so much hate (in the comments) is just over the top. Like the young people say: “Chill out!” XD
or – as we say here, “Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill.” :steamhappy:
Ecxactly. DLC can cost money unlike regular game updates that can't. So if they are planning releases for free, just do game updates instead DLC and nme the upf=dates, like: Big Update, or Social Interactions Update, or Players Request #X update...

Hmm, I played InZoi. I love realistic graphics — it's one of the things I consider the most when choosing a game — and yeah, InZoi is great in that aspect, no complaints.
But as I said, it's worse than the Sims 4 base game. The relationships between Zois are completely broken, or even nonexistent. Zois can't see each other's relationships. Like, you can kiss one Zoi and then go kiss another one right in front of the first, and no one gets mad.
So it's annoying and frustrating =( and, for me, unacceptable. It's like the Zois don’t care about relationships at all.

If you play the Sims 4 base game and do something like that, the Sims will fight, get mad, even slap you. The other Sim won't accept you kissing them after you kissed someone else. You have to make sure no other Sim is nearby before doing any love interaction.
That’s a basic system — and InZoi misses it completely. So, no. Graphics without good and well-designed systems mean nothing.

Another basic thing: Zois are like ghosts. I hate seeing Zois walking through each other. There’s no collision. In Sims 4, there is collision — you can’t just walk through another Sim.
And about interactions: it’s really nice that, if a Sim is blocking your path, it triggers an automatic interaction — the Sim asks the other to move. That kind of detail shows how far behind InZoi still is, unfortunately.
Not just compared to Sims 4 — even the very first Sims game had those two things I mentioned.

And with all the DLC announcements already, I’ve honestly lost a lot of hope =(
But the team is listening to players, so I won’t abandon this game — I just really hope they start paying more attention to the basic details that make all the difference.
