That's true. But when the competition does the same thing for less money, it's hard to compete.

The game itself is very good (if you ignore certain balancing issues), better than all other games of this type.
The gameplay is enjoyable and polished, and the builds are interesting.

I don't see what the game could add that would allow it to sustain itself over time without forcing players to pay a subscription.

It's an auto battler.
Skins? I don't think they're profitable enough; most people aren't going to pay for a card back.
Decks? Already a thing, at 20 bucks, and it adds balancing issues, which means more work and more developers to pay for longer.

I think it's complicated to enter such a restricted market, with some of the big players still firmly in place.

But I really hope the game finds a balance, and I'll probably start playing it again at that point, if that moment ever comes.

I usually play as a khajiit so i usually go naked. But if i had to pick probably daedric armor but nightingale is also nice.

You're right, I just did some research. There's no "Social" on the website... It's actually even EASIER. Tell your friend to send you their Epic Profile (Example: https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/u/*RandomStringForTheProfileHere*)

Now click the button for "Add Friend" .... Which is WAY easier than a Social page would be, just have your friend send it to you and you're done lol.

Point still stands, you do not need the launcher and can easily add friends via web. But since that was easily searchable in like 30sec after disregarding the AI, it tells me YOU didn't even do any research into it either you just went "BUH, I see an AI answer so it's bad, BUH!"


EDIT: For the love of God, Just use Google. All of you. From OP all the way down, not even a MINUTE on Google and the answer is found and all the blind-naysayers are completely rekt. If you have access to the Forum you have access to Google, and the whole thing would be proven unnecessary.

Requesting a moderator lock this thread, as the answer to OP's problem has been answered via Epic Linking and WebPage-based Add-Friend.

I was searching for over 45 minutes with my friend who plays on PS5 and every single result that popped up, the AI summary at the start, the threads, the videos, all of them were either saying to use the launcher or the list of steps was telling me to click buttons that don't exist on the browser site, only the launcher. Maybe if this bs service is going to have ways of adding your friends they should put the info on how to do it more publicly instead of hiding it behind obscure menus pushing you to download their app. Maybe Void, who told us we could play with our friends without the launcher, should mention somewhere in their announcement, forums, f'ing anything, on how to do that.
