Numbers-wise, these are absolutely great. Not only you get massively better debuffs, but the proc damage gets amped to very much killing levels.

HOWEVER, to gain any effect from it, you *must* use a gun with corresponding element. Technically, you can also have it on other equipment and cross-proc it by various means, but that's way too inefficient.

So your run gets locked to one specific element, and now you can't really grab a gun with another element (unless it won't be your main gun) - because that'll cause your build to break and your damage output to plummet.

Technically, there are also fabricators with affix rerolling, but practically there isn't much chances to get the required damage type out of them, especially once you unlock plasma and psionics.

All together, this leads to the situation where you can't even consider to switch your gun about every 8 out of 10 times, simply because the gun has wrong damage type.

Is it only for me that sometime Pawns would just dissapear into thin air whe going into a train? Then when you need them you find out you have to reload save couse they are and at the same time aren't living

There are NPCs you can get as part of your mobile caravan/base, but they don't fight with you or anything and just provide some services.

There's a new magic tree that allows you to summon a Mana Crystal that's basically a sentry turret & another that creates a copy of yourself that acts as an ally.

We might get a proper summoning tree after full release, I think it was on the kickstarter or just planned at some point.

Late to the party, but want'ed to add mods that I use while on my second play through.

I wanted more immersion, and I would recommend the following.

Longer Days

Allows you to modify how long an in-game day lasts for!

This is a great mod to increase the in-game time relative to real time.
What I hated about the vanilla in-game time was when I would go fishing for 10 real-time min, and 4 or 5 in-game hours passed.

Check the details concerning the ini settings to tweak the in-game time, and to
specify what time the day starts and what time the day ends (use 24hr clock)

The default ini that comes with the mod has 2 Real-time sec for 1 in-game min.

Default is from 7 to 19 (ie 7am to 7pm)

More Persistent Weather

This mod makes each weather type last longer, you can get random bad weather when you load the game or wake up, weather can persist while you sleep, or even when you quit the game.

I was not real happy that a thunderstorm/rain storm would last for like 5min.
This mod changes that.
Using this with Longer Days, and it ended up raining all day .... lol
Also, the lightning storms are absolutely brutal.

This mod packs a lot of features and options for in game immersion.
I just downloaded it recently and testing some of the features and looks real promising so far.

Took on a Stagecoach job to transport some local folks to various areas around the map.
Dropped off, and picked up as I had 3 stops.... haha
Read the description (it's lengthy) for all available features and take time to review/tweak
the ini file.
