Delayed again, according to what I'm shown. "Coming Soon" and no release date. It's after 5 am local so I'm a little .... tired.

15hrs means player never slept, ate, took a piss, ♥♥♥♥, bathed, answered phone calls, just sat and did nothing but complain afked a bit to go here in the forum and pour feelings

if this would have been intended, you as a player would be able to damage the fief yourself. there would be no reason for a player to lure an npc in the most convoluted way imaginable to shoot the fief until its destroyed.

its just one of the many oversights of funcom, not really testing anything themselves and letting their players do their job for free on the pts they launched after releasing the game.

i remember a time in gaming where devs would do their own extensive testing on bugs, flaws and errors. today they ask you - the paying customer - to not only invest your money and time to engage in the product they produced. no, they actually have the audacity to then come along and ask you - the paying customer - to test their crap on their behalf, doing their job for them and not even pay you doing it.

in fact, its the opposite really: you pay with your money and your time, and then they ask you to pay them with even more of your personal time to test their product.

its as if people dont know or have forgotten that software testers exist and do this exact thing as a profession. funcom is just outsourcing a whole department and are basically hiring their customers for free. its absolute insanity.

the funniest thing is how some people find that totally acceptable and defend this bs as if companies and corps are their personal friends, running around telling people to go test for themselves and provide funcom with their feedback.

So what does this actually mean? Treat me like I'm 5, please... because as it is now it's almost impossible to keep up with the food and resource drain unless you've gotten 100 food markers all over the place.

And when seasons change, do the food markers update? Previously we had to delete then re-create the food flags, for example, to get the gatherers to pick up stuff that spawned in after the season change.

Gatherers haus would be empty, and constant bickering about "add another marker" but when you go out there, there's plenty of new food / items out, they just don't seem to recognize the seasons changed and there's fresh stuff all over.

I want to know with all of this turmoil, why hasnt Lathan been fired? He is the senior producer, isnt he? everything he is responsible for appears to be a failure in most responsibilities, more then once. While I would love to have faith that the fun pimps will get the game back on track, its hard for me to believe that without any personnel changes. after almost 9000 hours of play since this game first came to steam, I can say there has been a slow degradation in the quality of play. Time for changes, not only in the game. I dont say this lightly because I rarely say anything negative about this game. My first review many years ago was highly positive but as time went on, only a few years ago, I had to change it to a negative review. Like most people I love this game and am just completely frustrated with the direction it has been going and I have to ask the question why? All those years of a great direction and quality of play and then a subtle but consistent downward direction until this mess called 2.0. People need to go and a change consistent with the community majority needs to take place.

Here's the tutorial on how to get rid of crows.

1. Find crows.
2. Point them with the mouse.
3. Grab one by the neck and strangle till death by smashing the X button.
4. Think about what you did and why are you still reading this post.
5. Grab corn and a slingshoot, then start using them crows as target shoot training.
6. Clearly you're enjoying reading this post.
7. Look at your keyboard and read out loud the next letter you see. "G A Y".
8. Turn up and down volume to see if crows can feel the 4th wall.
10, This is the most useless post I could do and definitly could've used my time in a better way.

Still, had two recent runs ended with mercs (although one contract ran out during comas... they said good luck as they left :P it didn't help) when I was loaded with loot and trying to go by the SW corner of the Swamp... sabres, or ninjas, or both followed by hungry spiders. Yep game over ironman. Truth is greed is what killed those runs. LOL

Personally I dont go to the swamp much if I can avoid it. If I do it is going to be a stealth operative who avoids all contact with the local fauna if they can. Sneaking into runs for research mats and getting out. And certainly not a place for large groups of AI driven mercs who you cant really control. I call it Swamp Fever, the way the AI pathing can go kind of haywire in their, they spread out, break up fighting random things they catch sight of etc.

Even worse in the Foglands. I call it Fog Madness there, You bring in Mercs, and they scatter all over trying to fight and losing track of everything due to the perception penalty.

Mercs will chase anything hostile even before the enemy get hostile to you.
And they will then chase other enemies nearby.
Best solution is to path well away from any enemies.
This is pretty easy most places but not in the swamp because the terrain and vegetasjon can make it hard to spot enemies.
